>>20710657>>20710903>>20711040Good thing I didn't start the Sugi yet, I must've misinterpreted the way the underside of the new petals were supposed to look. I interpreted them as just yellow petals stuck to the back of the head but the way you've drawn them is most likely correct.
I did some sketches as I practiced trying to get the overall size/shape of things right and thinking up shading placement for the Sugi. The head shape is definitely tough to get right at other angles.
