I infiltrated Silph Co and defeated Team Rocket but while Zubat did evolve into Golbat, I lost Golbat to Team Rockets Weezing using Self Destruct but I did however get a Lapras.
Then when I entered Saffron City gym, I lost both Growlithe and Meowth to Channelers Gastlies using Destiny Bond but I got surprisingly lucky with the battle against Sabrina. Electrode used Rollout and got stronger, taking out both her Kadabra, Mr Mime, Venomoth and Alakazam.
Tomorrow I take on Koga, will Ghastly be useful against his Koffings?
