Gen 1: Goldeen
There's really nothing special about this pokemon, Seaking is alright and would actually stand out to be a good standalone pokemon but Goldeen is just another pointless filler water type to me.
Gen 2: Quagsire
Don't get me wrong, I love wooper to bits but Quagsire is just so bland and an ugly fat blob that I almost regret evolving mine back in Gold, whats even worse is the fanbase who defend it to the skin of their teeth and are way too vocal about it.
Gen 3: Meditite
Its some garlic bulb headed thing that wears a diaper, how anyone can defend this one is beyond me. Even playing in game the piece of shit always uses detect and wastes time. Medicham is about as offensive on the eyes but its mega actually makes it tolerable.
Gen 4: Magnezone
It looks so awkward looking with how suddenly 3 magnetic balls that still had the possibility to separate and have their own control just becomes some ugly UFO with one being the main body and the other two just being stubby as fuck "arms".
Gen 5: Basculin
I don't actually hate it, I just think being a generic fish without even an evolution to separate their different colours was sort of wasted potential, not to say Milotic/Gyarados tier of evolution since they actually have passable stats but it just feels like another filler water type.
Gen 6: Aromatisse
Goes from some cute little bird with a mask into some fat, grounded abomination that suddenly gets arms and a 'bow' on its ass. Wasn't asking for the whole plague doctor evolution like everyone else wanted but there was potential for at least some cool fairy/flying flamingo and instead they just fucked up that chance.
