The kind of thing you like because it has unique ideas even if the overall game could be better. There's a lot of those types of games I'm fond of, like Jet Set Radio. Is the gameplay good? Not really, it's really clunky and the chase missions are bullshit, but that won't stop me from thinking it's a party in a package.
I can tell you that if there were better versions of these games, people wouldn't look on them as fondly, but since there aren't, we'll take what we have, and what we have is a relatively unique and decent campaign, good music, and a good art style.
