I wouldn't have a problem with late evos if they made sense. Like they give you fucking Excadrill, Rape Ape, Krookodile, Lilligant, the dog way earlier in the game and they evolve reasonably early. Why would I drop any of them for this ice cream piece of shit with no coverage, no good setup moves, no good ability or anything to make it stand out? And it's fully evolved at level 47. It's like if you're going to make me wait that long for an evolution, make it worthwhile. But they got everything backwards where most of the good shit is early on and almost everything late game isn't even worth bothering with.
