>>38665962I'm flattered, anon. I take pride in having a strong sense of sympathy and empathy, so I'm glad you feel the same.
Yeah, I could see that. It's something familiar, something normal and comes with it reflection and clarity you wouldn't otherwise have if you were surrounded by people constantly.
If you're going to have demons, might as well make them work for you and get something out of the melancholy, right?
>>38666008Thank you, anon! And truth be told, it's the same answer for why I wouldn't want to be any other animal. I enjoy being human, I appreciate both the joys and the struggles that it entails, and I enjoy my life immensely with a strong sense of purpose already.
So, a natural extension of that is being a trainer. I said this in the last thread, but I derive immense joy and elation from helping and caring for others, to a fault sometimes.
So for me, having Pokemon under my charge is like a drug; they're intelligent enough to be human-esque companions, unlike a normal animal, and are my complete responsibility to care for, unlike a human. For being their caretaker and master I gain their undivided loyalty and appreciation, it's the perfect relationship for someone like me.
>>38666090Indeed I am! Happy to see you coming around and sharing with everyone again anon.
