The first Pokemon game I had was Sapphire, so I first Treeko at first, but then I found it boring.
My brother picked Torchic, so I picked Mudkip, and basically I had my first "push through with your starter" experience everybody had.
Then I had Emerald, and I learned how much of a monster he is in the Frontier. And never left my side ever since.
My Macho Mud will be the Pokemon Meta Nightmare for as long as I can still send him to fights. My bromon is eternal.
