And ROM hacks like Radical Red seemingly don't bother changing Aurorus's typing for some asinine reason since that's the #1 complaint about the Pokemon. If Luxray can be Electric/Dark (even though there's no actual reason why Luxray should have the Dark type) then Aurorus can be Ice/Electric or something else. The same shit that fucks over Aurorus in the official games is rearing its ugly head in ROM hacks as well and this comes across as the community upholding all the "doomed" and "unsalvageable" comments.
I'm honestly very tempted to make my own ROM hack that changes the typings and stats (reasonably) of fossil Pokemon and it won't be a difficulty hack, even though there would be some slight trainer changes (nothing major).
