>>52374648as a standalone, blastoise is awesome. it's the design dissonance it has from wartortle that jarring. i dont mind the cannons of the fatness, but more the fact that it suddenly gets these random cat ears instead of wartortle's wing/fin ears. squirtle was my first starter and i was surprised and not that pleased when wartortle evolved into blastoise and looked like that
