>>52214709>Do you think some mons are better or worst in soloq because of the ability of smiting fug ?Definitely, some examples that i used back in the zapdos meta :
- surf greninja, can approach stealthily with smokescreen then steal with surf or ult
- cinderace, ult is great for stealing, gonna be great with the new items
- hyperbeam dragonite, can be used both in jungle or in lane, ult is great for capping/defending
- Lucario's power up punch, used to be pretty much the best secure before dnite's hyperbeam
- mamoswine's icicle crash was surprisingly good, i think defenders do extra damage to wild pokemons so it worked a lot of times when it shouldn't have
And those were just my mains, trough the seasons i also saw zapdos getting stolen with gengar's ult, snorlax' bodyslam, mamoswine's icicle, crustle xscissor, trevenant's curse, decidueye of course, even blissey's eggbomb. You can steal with pretty much anything that has some burst, the ones that will be suffering the most will be continuous damage pokemons like hypervoice sylveon for example.
I had a 63% winrate with greninja alone just by getting good at stealing zap, now it's all the way down to 52% so as a soloQ player you can imagine how i feel about the new map. I've gotten good at stealing elekis and rayquaza with dodrio's drillpeck and scyther's dual wingbeat, but it didn't matter.
I honestly feel like the rayquaza changes are good, gives you a reason to not give up even if your team is total ass. Sure it's bad that the matches are decided by a coinflip 2 minutes before the end, but i think that it's even worse when the match is decided by the matchmaking algorithm before the game even starts. That's a different kind of coinflip that you have no control over
I'm timi's biggest critic, i'm the first one to call them a bunch of chink bastards, but trust me for us soloQ players these changes are good. The only people mad about them are competitivefags and premade-abusers
