funny story: once when I was in Japan I crashed my bike, got a concussion, very disoriented, some nasty scrapes but no serious injuries. my indian friend told me it wasn't a big deal to get a little Japanese dirt on my scrapes, but if it had happened in India I'd need to go to the hospital to get shots.
