I genuinly believe that ditto is the worst Pokémon to have ever been made. There's something about all the things that make up ditto that gives it such terrible reputation for me. It's base design is a blob with a dumb face attached to it. There is a consistent inconsistency of ditto being purple or pink. In the tv show it can turn into inanimate objects without needing to see them before copying them. It only knows one move. It has an uncreative overall idea behind it, where it just turns into other Pokémon, making it even less unique than before. It's technically the strongest Pokémon to ever exist because it has the ability to do anything that any other one of these creatures can do. It still ends up being one of the weakest in the game because it has to spend a turn copying another Pokémon, not to mention the fact that it is always weaker then what it will transform from. The largest media franchise to have ever existed in all of recorded history still cannot have it keep the dumb face as it turns into other Pokémon. There is even a ridiculous and completely uninteresting backstory of it being a failed clone of what was at the time, the only legendary Pokémon.
I really think Game freak hit the bottom of the barrel early on with ditto. What is your least favorite Pokémon?
