Decidueye is a little bit of a stretch but birds evolved from dinosaurs and owls are literally classified as "raptors" its body shape is also just more dino-like than other birds in the series
the plants on them are also clearly prehistoric inspired plants like cycads and ferns
Water on the other hand seems like the most random whether GF wants to stick to a clear theme or not
Blastoise, Empolion, and Samurott have clear inspiration from weapons specifically but the rest are a stretch
The theme must be more armor/warriors in general but Primarina still doesn't fit that well
Sprigatito will evolve into something like a sabertooth cat obviously
Quaxly I guess will have some kind of armor he already looks like he's wearing a helmet
Fuecoco is the tricky one to fit the theme it has to turn into an ox, snake, rabbit, horse, or goat
It already looks like a reptile so snake is the obvious one but I could see it becoming ox-like as well they both fit the Spain inspired region and the pepper theme
