>>39427952It's certainly different and a lot more vitriolic than last season, but honestly I don't think it's a bad season.
For one, I'm learning a lot about the games from a structural standpoint. Did you know XY had 53 people on "Pokemon Motion Design" (read: Pokemon animation) while SM only had 15?
Also I never noticed that in XY and SM, wild Pokemon DON'T have an intro animation. Sometimes their idle fidget would go off at the start of a fight, but that's a motion they'd do over and over. In S/S, they do have an intro for wild pokemon now, but the trick is that intro is just the SOS cry animation being repurposed as the intro. Which makes sense since Pokemon have always cried out at the start of an encounter.
Also, I'm way more interested in all the trailer drops this time for both seeing what hidden garbage people find in them and whatever potential new thing people may like/dislike to get thrown into the shitposting pile.
