The Champion's League could be the gym challenge but with every gym leader being someone who also won a regional league, maybe even champions themselves.
Galar would be the location of the Champion League with the 'Gym Masters' mentioned in a Twitter Post.
Ash has to defeat all eight champions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola and Galar to challenge the Pokemon Master who reigns supreme as the greatest trainer in the world. All of his pokemon return as he challenges each regional champion and culminates in his strongest team against the Pokemon Master.
