Came across the following post last night:
''Alright then chaps, why not assemble the ultimate in-game team? Gen 5 of course, let's not limit ourselves too much. No EV training, assume a perfectly bred Pokemon, and specify their natures of course.
Requirements:
>Needs to get STAB on all HM's for maximum functionality(HM's will be Cut, Fly, Surf, Strength, Waterfall).
Team Diversity mode: Cut becomes Grass-type, Strength becomes Rock-type, but you have to add Dig as well.
>Minimal weaknesses to specific types
>STAB counters to the types you're weak to
Try and keep physical HM's on Pokemon whose base stats have high Attack, special HM's on high SpAtk. of course.
Anything else to add?''
Now, really, I'd like to know what would be the ultimate in-game team. Can /vp/ assemble a team that would, statistically speaking, be the the very best?
Should we add only five pokemon to each team, so everyone can include their favorite poké as well? Should we go full six year old, and only use purely offensive moves(no Dragon Dance for example)? Should we make it specifically as a counter to Gen 5's late gyms/E4?
