Journeys just uses less generic stock fotage (which is of course better quality due to the fact that it is made to be reused dozens of times) which might seem that the battle animation is shittier. The real shame is that it is worse than XY or even DP/BW in many areas which is sad. I hope when covid finally ends the quality increases. Today's battle really showed that it was drawn by like 5 different animators from home.
