I know, if we're not getting it with the R/S remakes we never will. But a man can dream hurr derp.
It's just that Cubone's so cool, but since I was a kid I always felt Marowak feels a bit lazy as an evolution desing.

Pokédex entries mention his mother since the first games so it only makes sense

that we should see how and adult Cubone looks in the evolutionary line. Full-formed head, horns maybe.
So a Mega never made more sense as this one does, too bad GameFreak will always overlook that "look-its-on-a-silver-plate" Pokédex entry and we'll never get it.
