Despite that, I'm of the opinion that Manectric is the single greatest pokemon ever created. It has an imposing, confident stance, and the geometry of its design actually makes it look *better*; it perfectly encapsulates the vibe of lightning (sharp and striking). The blue and yellow doesn't even look stupid here.
Manectric's shiny form is even more severe, if you're looking for a grungier look (and it can be portrayed as grungy and umbral as you want, really).
