A spark/pity (where you get to select the sync pair you want) costs 36.6k gems (12 multis + 2 solos). If you buy 100 gems, you can bring that down to 36.4k by doing a discounted daily solo (anything beyond that one discounted solo isn't worth it though, since you get less scout points).
It's still anni though, so getting the last ~8k gems you need for a spark shouldn't be too hard if you're willing to actually play this kusoge for a bit.
