There's a pop-culture store up in the city which is holding a midnight release, which is the same night as my high school graduation.
But that finishes at 8:30pm, so the plan is to head down to the city after that and catch the midnight release with my older sister. Hoping she doesn't cause a scene at the counter though, we both want to get Ruby. I originally owned the Ruby cartridge but she stole it from my GBA when I was at school one day and started her own file on it, which she only played up to around the third gym on. I played through the rest of it. I still remember crossing my fingers hoping that Pinsir would land his Guillotine on Steven's Metagross, I didn't start Pokémon with gen 3 or anything but I remember it being the first game I actually defeated the league on. But, because the file was under my sister's name in her mind that means the game belonged to her, and just won't let me buy myself Omega Ruby. Fuck that, I'm not letting some casual tell me what to do. She hasn't even completed Y, the only game she's beaten the league on is Heart Gold, and even then I had to motivate her by giving her a shiny Charmander. Bitch.
Would be cool if I could grab an N3DSXL at the same time, hopefully they have them in stock by then.
