My Party: Camelot, Matthew, ShovelWare, Argonot, Campbell, and Voodoo
Argonot makes quick work of the trainers, earning herself an evolution to Flaaffy in the process.
Thus, we faced Falkner.
>DoduoLead with Camelot, of course.
Doduo opened with Growl, which does nothing to weaken Ember, and it gets Burned.
It gets one weakened hit in with Aerial Ace before falling to another Ember.
>PidgeottoSwapped to Argonot.
Pidgeotto used Tackle, to which Argonot gave a Thunder Wave, Paralyzing it.
A Thunder Shock halves Pidgeotto’s health, but it eats an Oran Berry and counters with another Tackle.
A small standoff, as Argonot Charged and Pidgeotto used Roost to top its health back up.
Charge does its job, as the next Thunder Shock from Argonot manages to wipe out Pidgeotto from full health.
>ChatotArgonot returns to being outsped by Chatot, whose Uproar puts her from orange to red, receiving a Thunder Wave in return.
I used one of the Super Potions found by Wojtek to restore Argonot back to full health. Chatot’s Paralysis kept it from moving, allowing Argonot to finish it off next turn with a single Thunder Shock.
>SwabluIt manages to survive a Thunder Shock as it gathers light, with the Power Herb it was holding letting it fire off the Solarbeam in the same turn. This did very little damage.
Tackle finished it off.
>Farfetch’dIt manages a Poison Jab before Thunder Wave Paralyzes it. Ultimately a needless precaution, as it goes down with a single Shock.
>MurkrowIt performs a Faint Attack to put her in the orange before getting Waved and Shocked to 0 health. Thus falls Falkner’s last Pokemon.
After getting the Zephyr Badge, I am contacted by Elm and his Assistant to take the Egg. Not currently having a place to hatch it, I box it for the time being.
