Was your Spanish teacher ick? Mine was absolutely amazing, riddling her classes with stuff like "There's no crying in Spanish!" and calling us "Children of the corn" - she had a great sense of humour, and while very few people in the class actually liked language studies (most thought it was necessary to take one in High School), they still enjoyed the class.
