But I don't really think that's a bad thing to get Pokemon that are different from what we've had before because those Pokemon are still set in stone (except pikachu), even if you hate the alola formes the old formes are still there.
Pokemon at it's core has always been

Looking at it as a franchise you grew up with and saying
