She doesn't look like an unrelated fantasy series protagonist, she'd look like shit in any fantasy series. Sure, purple hair and dark skin work well together, but that cloak and tunic fuck it all up, and overall she just looks so drab, but too colorful to be comfortable. The green in her eyes and that gem also work with nothing going on here. The fact that nobody was brave enough to say no to this design is a condemnation of the whole studio.
