If you stack them with Necrozma, you can potentially be dropping 270 damage a turn with 3 in play, or 210 with 2. Keep in mind though that with 3 Malamar and 2 Necrozma in play there is zero room for Lele or Mew, and with 2 you won't guarantee 1HKOs on Stage 2 GX cards. Zoroark even resists it so you're required to have 3 if you want to hit it for a kill.
It's better for Expanded, since Dimension Valley lets you attack for 2 energy instead of 3 and can allow 2 energy 120 damage attacks every turn, even with just one in play, or you can run Sky Field and forego the issue of bench space.
