Nowadays you'll see it mentioned sparingly but beforehand it was flooding most threads related to Hatt.
Are they both psychic/fairy types who's dex entries mention their line's reactions to strong emotions? Yes, but that's it, and I wouldn't even say they're both feminine because Gardevoir originally was designed to be androgynous and it shows (only in Gen 6 did they start really pushing it at girly, though you could argue they kinda started this in Gen 4 by making Gallade).
It works to both of their advantage though, and it's nice that there's a lot of art out there together showing a friendly version of the aforementioned rivalry.
