I know the Galar arc's big thing is supposedly getting in touch with Liko's grandmother, but I hope part of the Kabu involvement is Friede getting the children to do a training arc. Like

At some point I'd like to see Liko, Roy and Dot actually manage to fight back in a more decisive way. With there being four Explorers (plus Amethio, Zir and Conia) that gives just enough for there to be several one-on-one situations in a finale, if Landau gets involved at some point.
A justified complaint people had about Amethio's crew running roughshod on the Volteccers back in episode 5-6 was that it seemed absurd for Orio, Molly and Murdock to all job so handily. One of the counterpoints was that training Pokemon to battle is a specialist skill that few actually undertake. So people like the support staff of the Volteccers suck at battling, but they're really good at using Pokemon to nurse, do mechanical stuff, or cook. Fine if true, but they need to address that at some point, because the predecessor series did so inconsistently.
