It's definitely not as hard. At all. Even losing in a dungeon, you don't lose as many items or money. The first games were so unforgiving in comparison.
Lack of quiz at the beginning and lack of possible choices for you and your partner pissed me off, though.
The story was good and the ending had me crying (as do all PMD games).
I wanna be an Eevee again, though, with a Vulpix partner.
