I was in a triple battle with the ranger right before Lacunosa Town, she had vibrava, flareon, and lavesta. Leo was being trained so I switched him because I didn't want him to get hit by fire moves, completely forgetting Mareg was in danger of getting hit by a ground move (He was already at 75% because he did a bit of battling before). My mind completely blanked because I was too busy noticing that Mareg could rock slide all three opponents. He was gone the next turn :'( My deaths have been so preventable.
