>>53236229You are absolutely right, and now I'm kinda ashamed of myself for thinking this about planes but not other vehicles.
>>53236270I was merely going to make the argument that not all Pokémon who can swim (learn Surf or Dive) are Water types, so why would all aquatic need to be such, or point at our real world examples of whales and dolphins who live in the water but still breath air so they need to come to the surface every so often in order to live. But at the end of the day, there's no actual problem in increasing the number of Water types, is there?
>>53237031Now that is very cool Anon, thank you for letting me know of its existence.
>>53237073Your post just *demands* that I post pic related.
>>53237129Hence why I always believed that fish Pokémon should only be able to be used in the water, and Pokémon who can't swim shouldn't, much like how you could only use Pokémon who can fly in aerial battles. However, I also understood why making the game like this would upset more than a few people.
>>53237276Depends on the Shiny I suppose. A Shiny like Pikachu that's just a slightly darker shade of yellow should be just another flavor of "average", but a Shiny like Espeon and its bright green would be rarer.
Now in my ideal, using Pikachu as example again, there would be like:
>Normal Pikachu>Spiked "hair" Pikachu>Different pattern Pikachu (the difference being those 2 stripes it has on its back)And each variant would have:
>2~3 shades of yellow>2 shades of orangeAnd the Shiny one would be blue.
In summary, each Pokémon having around 3 detail differences, and 5 color variations + the Shiny (which would have a vastly different color).
Something like that.
