I spend all my money on gear to make my omegamon have 999 points on every stat and when i entered mt infinity (exclusive to decode) i got completely crushed because apparently items > good stats and by the end of it i spend most of my digimon lifespan training so he died and i had to do train the little shit all over again. Then when i tried again this time equipped with items but worse stats i got crushed as well because some bosses requires that you have both. With the limited time on your hand it seemed quiet impossible until you had to figure out that you needed the slow mow switch to cheese the training and money farming but it still wasn't enough because final boss wanted that you had all the best moves.
so to make it short tl;dr to beat decode you gotta beat the game first before heading to ygdrasil.
