SM really seems to be going through TRio's greatest hits with their individual focus episodes. They keep putting them in sports themed competitions against the Alola gang, which TRio is usually surprisingly competent at. They did the fake-out Pokemon release with Mareanie. This time they did the fake-out "Meowth is leaving/Team Rocket is going to break up" episode. Here's another screencap that just seems way too close to being inspired if not directly referencing Higurashi (minus fish eye lens) for comfort. The cuts run deep.
Hope those of you who understand Nipponese enjoy Likokino's return in an hour or two. Can't wait for subs to drop later on.
