One of my fraternity brothers from college died from the meme virus on Monday. He was only 35 years old. He was a police officer with a wife and two children. I have no idea if he was vaccinated or if he was a smoker or anything like that, but I wish I had kept more in touch with him over the years. I don't use social media anymore due to the overall negativity, though. I only found out through the local news reporting his death since he was a cop. He's the first person I know who's died of covid, but now I'm wondering if anyone else I know has died, and I'm just unaware of it. It's spooky to think that I'll probably never know.
