The XY rivals are the worst in the series, but I have to say one thing. I felt so fucking bad for Serena when she's the rival. Every time you beat her she looks like she's going through a crisis. Seeing her put her hand to her forehead and question her abilities was a stab in the heart each time. I began rooting for her and wished that she could beat me and the game let me progress with her having a canon victory. The worst thing is seeing your character look so smug and do his gay little fist pump every time you win. Your best friend and rival is hurting dude, go cheer her up and give her a hug and tell her that she's a great trainer.
