>>55530841I always catch whatever bug I can get in the beginning of the game, like a Caterpie or Wurmple or something like that, just because they tend to learn status ailment moves to help me catch other pokemon, and I keep them on my team for a quite a long time, until they finally become no longer useful. Occasionally they fill a niche nobody else does and I keep them the whole game.
