I do see the ways it's not the most optimal, but I still think it has potential, Freeze Dry is just such a good move, but the only other Pokemon with Water Absorb and FD is Arctovish, who's essentially almost just the same.

Also literally the point is an immunity to water other than Seismatoad. I already stated how SR's negated by the healing of a water attack switch in, but the 3 you mentioned are not at all immune and will take hefty damage from switch-ins on Vish (especially since Pelipper summons rain, strengthening Fisheous Rend). Not saying it's the end all be all here, but I think this option is going under the radar.
