i think everyone recognizes that chimecho is based on the japanese glass wind chime associated with summer and the beach, but chingling is also based very specifically on a kind of shinto shrine bell, and the distinctive two color rope, used when offering prayers. I was always kinda miffed because I thing chingling would've been a lot cooler as either a solo with better stats, or the evolved form rather than a prevo. the shrine bells are generally huge.
