As it is, four points would extend the length of the game, and while this would be good for some decks in the current meta, I actually believe that most decks would not be prepared for a longer game.
This is also why I would advise everyone to keep three or four copies of every single card if they can. When you look at how certain cards are worded I believe that they are planning for the future so to speak, and that eventually we will not be limited to two copies per deck. Pic related
