I heard Pictocross or Trozei or whatever is ass but I never played. Didn't play Masters, didn't play LG. Didn't play any pinball or other unmentioned spinoffs.
I like the traditional battle system and how it has evolved over the years, but I think games with movement options and gridding like Mystery Dungeon and Conquest (I will not shut up how underrated this game is, it just lacks a bit of polish and bonus content, yet still has an expansive post game and Pokemon list) have my favorite mechanics and feel the most fun. That said, I do like the majority of them, but many of the games, both spinoff and mainline, do often feel low-effort or lacking in some ways.
