Gym 1 (Chili, Cylan, Cress) : HANSON, Age 15 initially, dropped to age 14
Gym 2 (Lenora): Pam Grier, Beyonce, Big Mama Age 33, 32, then settled on 35
Gym 3 (Burgh): Essentric, Vincent Gallo, Johnny Depp, Japanese duo アンガールズ. Age 24, 22, 21
Gym 4 (Elesa): French Fashion model, Gemma Ward. Age 17 then dropped to 15.
Gym 5 (Clay): Hideshi Hayata, Ryuji Hagiwara, Chuta Ban. Age 56, dropped to 55
Gym 6 (Skyla): Initial concept was a Flying Type leader, native American 12 years old. The concept was recycled into Iris. Later a design inspired by Isabella Fontana and Jennifer Lopez. Age 26 then revised down to 18.
Gym 7 (Brycen): Inspired by Bruce Lee and Warsman from Kinnikuman. Starts off aged 35 but aged up to 44.
(The idea of a split final gym leader came about in the 2nd revision)
Gym 8 (Iris): Initially Latina Skyla, Dragon leader, age 22. South American singer who loves shopping. Revised to still being just a concept of a native American girl, age 12, then 11, then 10. (now using a dress to represent her instead of native Americans dancing in tribal dress)
Gym 8 (Drayden): German mayor. Hulk Hogan, Herbert von Karajan, Arthur Schopenhauer. The Hulkster was a late addition. 69 years old
