I just wished that they could've properly introduce his son sooner to establish a long term rivaly, while have him connected to Team Rocket's downfall. It would be more fitting that Giovanni left the group to look after his own son (probably Between BW and SM), leading TR to go under new management. This, along with TRio's constant failures, lead them to bleed money and force them to cut their budget; leaving it a hollow shell of itself.
