If they actually bring up Misty's feelings if/when Serena cameos in an episode, I wonder if Misty's impenetrable self confidence might falter for once in the face of a popular and glamorous idol who Ash has known since he was little and acts like his girlfriend. Would she think she missed her chance? Would she just give up? I seriously doubt it'd play out that way but it'd be interesting to see her doubt herself for once. But I'm not sure if I'd even want that much "muh misunderstandings" drama in an episode.
