No new thread, nice.
Just got back taking gyms back for instinct a half mile behind my house, just to give gyms one more shot, and they are not really that bad. Besides the charge bar and switching mons glitch, as long as your keep tapping there is no way the other pokemon will get the advantage with or because of lag. Plus a stacked fully health 6 mon gym of blissesy and the better new lasting defenders goes down in half the time like 15 mins versus than the old system of 25 to 45 mins, aint nobody got time for that, which is alot more convenient and a BIG plus, maybe 20
mins max to take down a gym if you suck, so that is another plus. I was really going to give up on gyms and just finish the dex but meh, its not as bad as I first thought maybe the 1st day of being way too drunk almost blacked out, the heat, bad morning before gyms dropped made me a little biased and jumped to conclusions.
They still need to keep messing with the coinage gain like many complain about until they find a common ground of fairness for amount of effort since there is a bit more effort required if others arent helping feed. But there will probably always be 1 or 2 people willing to help out your mons if the other 4 dont, those are good odds better than not feeding at all.
Niantic will probably fix the glitch in less than 2 weeks since this is what we got for the long run, they didnt fix the dodge glitch with the old gym system because they knew the gyms were going to change.
And good to have my name out there again, after day 2 of not claiming gyms my friend texted me thinking I quit lol
And the whole interface is cool and smooth as fuck, like the family cluster aspect, and the transitions through various pokemon and players. It is a bit Romanesk and white brightish in the interior of the gym lobby like a seaside building, which is relaxing.
They will probably fix gyms in less than a month for the upcoming holidays, if people keep complaining about the glitches and coins.
