>>58688526Dang, I would have taken a better pic if I knew it was going in the OP. Only loppuny, garde, and roserade are XS there while mawile is M, gallade is alpha, and audino is XL.
All male though. I may as well post some older XS to go with it
>Thread QuestionAbsolutely! I love having something that I can actively hunt for just by looking. It gives me a reason to try catching anything I see and is part of why I've dropped so many balls in the cool bug zone. Feels like there's a minor element of skill to it, so hunting XS mons is more rewarding than hunting shinies for me. Non-alpha XLs too. I like the subtle gameplay differences they offer as well, although that makes me wish there was an item to change their size for experimental purposes; but then that would ruin the fun of hunting them, so I'm conflicted. Honestly I'd rather have an item to make a mon shiny and still have to hunt the special sizes myself at this point because AFK shiny hunting sucks.
As for which size I'd prefer, it depends on the pokemon. Big and small each fit certain pokemon more than others. From a gameplay perspective, all smalls would probably be best though; not only is it easier to avoid attacks, but they're much rarer than alphas. Alphas on the other hand get bigger hitboxes on their attacks, which lets them catch opponents more easily depending on what the attack is; so it's situational benefit in exchange for getting hit more often in a game with way too many 1-shots.
All the males on my team would get headcanon'd into being alpha-sized where it counts anyway
