Also, no, Eevee looks like an animal 100%. Notice how its fur doesn't look overly precise or geometric, defined feet, deep eyes, and blending colors. It doesn't look inorganic at all.
I didn't feel like splicing Pikachu into this pic but if you look at it, it also has defined fingers and toes, and sort of has fatty curves that make its body look like an animal instead of a bunch of connected shapes.
I'm not saying all Pokemon have to look like this, but if they're trying to convey an animal, it should look like an animal, not a segmented toy.
