>>34541156Ho-Oh's design is fucking awesome... as long as it stays as a static 2D image. Seeing it like in pic related, with its wings spread and forming a circle shape and the multicoloured feathers fanning out nicely, its head tilted down from the heights with a mad gaze in its eyes, beak open screeching at the foolish mortals treading on its soil, talons extended and ready, and the tailfeathers spreading out from behind it like the sun's rays... everything about this design screams "awesome". But when you need to animate the thing in flight, you can't really sustain this pose forever without looking really silly, and god forbid you need to view it from another angle, because then it looks like just another run-off-the-mill ornate peacock-phoenix thingy.
