Lan breathes out a heavy sigh.
"She was Master's only other student. I remember when Ceras, the heir to the Oraccio clan, came down to Caliz after receiving the invitation. I remember him begging on the floor for Master to take care of his twin sister, who had been disowned by her own family. That was twelve years ago, I think? I guess Master has a soft spot for strays. Of course, she pushed a lot of the work onto me. Said something like, 'This child will require the companionship of an equal on the path she will walk. You, as well.' And that was that.
From what I get, she bears extremely potent draconic blood. This means a few things:
One, she's absurdly strong. Once we tested to see exactly how strong compared to a normal person. Y'know, what scared me more than the pain of having a multiple broken ribs was actually just how pissed Master was at the both of us. Master barely showed any emotion on her face, much less anger, so I'm pretty sure that image is burned deep in both of our heads. I'm pretty sure she's the only human in all of Furia that can actually throw down with Pokemon physically.
Two, since she's that strong she's actually not that good of Pokemon *Trainer*. The depth of her bond is shallower than most, meaning she doesn't have the natural advantage that most people here do of sharing thoughts and senses. However, her Pokemon have a deep love for her. Honestly it's more like they're taking care of her more than the other way around. That affection can go a long way. Combine that with Master's instruction and her natural strength, and you have someone that even I'm not sure I could win against all out. She sucks in duels though. "
