Masters doesn't has that, so it has to now compete with other waifugames for people's attention. The game itself is not awful, and I quite like it myself, but in no way is it making the top of the charts, beating out Blue Archive or Nikke, with these designs. They are absolute cute, but not the type to make people waste all their savings on, much less atrract new whales that only have a casual or no interest of pokemon. It's just the sad reality that you need fanservice to thrive in the gacha space.
