>>38750055No downside aside from the post-battle awkwardness where after they realize that you're talking with your monster directly about which attack to use and which move the enemy is going to use, they reward you not with a handful of coins but with a smirk and the question of "so, did he taste good?" You wouldn't even have to answer, I'm sure your body language would tell them that at minimum you understand what they're hinting at. It's still a small price to pay for becoming one with your beloved partner, though.
